Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and name. As you use Madame Aura we store the questions you ask, the cards drawn, your readings, and any notes, tags, moods and journal entries you add. If you choose to add birth details to your profile, we store them to calculate your birth chart.
Complimentary Readings Without an Account
Visitors can take complimentary readings without signing up. To enforce reading limits, we use a device identifier stored in your browser and a hashed form of your network address. We do not use these to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to generate and save your readings, personalize your experience, manage your membership and usage limits, and improve the app. Your questions and card details are sent to an AI service solely to generate your interpretation.
Privacy of Your Readings
Your readings are private by default and visible only to you. A reading becomes viewable by others only if you choose to share it, and you can stop sharing at any time.
Payments
Web payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. Native app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We keep only the subscription details needed to manage your membership.
Analytics
We collect basic usage analytics, such as pages visited, how visitors arrive, and reading and subscription activity, to understand how the app is used. This information is not used to sell advertising.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (such as hosting, payment processing and AI generation), or when required by law.
Your Choices and Deletion
You can edit your profile and notes, delete individual readings, and permanently delete your account and data from Settings. Deleting your account removes your stored readings and profile information.
